In 2008, payroll was very low key in the Middle East. There is a misconception around Payroll in this region, that is simple and straight forward because of the lack of taxation, but that couldn’t be farther from the truth. In reality, The dream for us is to help companies realise that payroll has a legitimate place in the strategic decision making part of business
Head of Growth
Lyritia first made her mark on the business world as a national sales and channel manager. Since then, she has gone on to grow and scale businesses with over 17 years’ experience of direct profit and loss responsibility. She has a multi-year blend of corporate and entrepreneurial experience, ensuring product solutions meet customer’s’ requirements and satisfaction by streamlining complex operations.
She is a proud mother to her 5- and 7-year olds and in her free time loves to play tennis and go to the gym. Her ethos is to do one thing a day to improve from yesterday.

Kaoutar cut her teeth at an outsourced HR services company in Belgium, starting as Team Manager in 2013, and later becoming an International Services Delivery Manager. She moved into operations management at a large Dubai-based company in 2018, where she managed staff performance and business productivity at executive level of a team of payroll consultants and team leaders.
At OPS Kaoutar ensures that the payroll outsourcing team meet all their deliverables, that processes run smoothly, and that team members are fully supported to do their jobs.
Sophie Mae Powell
Sophie was hooked on marketing when her lecturer skipped into the classroom in her first year at college and announced: “I’m going to ruin your shopping for you.” She cut her teeth in the industry as manager for a hotel and restaurant. She redesigned the brand, and group management spotted her talent. They recruited her to redesign the brand for all the luxury spas across the hotel group. She also worked in a marketing agency in the UK where she had her own portfolio of big-ticket clients. She moved to Dubai in 2018 and was involved in creating a co-working space that also offered outsourced services. She started at OPS just after the Covid-19 lockdown.
Sophie loves her two dogs, Lola & Conan, and is a self professed nerd. She loves to spend her free time volunteering at her local animal shelter, watching superhero movies and playing video games. She can also answer any question related to the TV show “friends”.
After graduating in 2016 with a master’s degree in commercial management in Morocco, she got stuck into the business world. Starting off a business development manager, she looked after expanding the business. Since then, she has had experience in the HR world working as an insurance consultant before moving to the UAE in 2022 and starting with OPS. Mouna has the travel bug and loves traveling, going to different places around the world, as it allows her to escape her everyday responsibilities.
In her free time, she enjoys socializing, going out for a cup of coffee or for meeting friends. She enjoys spending time with people who think on the same wavelength and she always tries to have a healthy lifestyle.

Jodie stumbled into Payroll when she applied for an administrative job fresh out of university in the UK. When the company where she applied deemed her overqualified for the admin job, they asked whether she would like to join the corporate payroll trainee program. She worked in Aberdeen, Scotland, before moving to Dubai with her other half and starting at OPS in 2018. She offers the whole dashboard of payroll services in a personable, professional manner, bringing the full array of her skills and experience to the table to benefit her clients. As Senior Payroll Specialist, she also offers additional support to other members in her team to better service the OPS client base.

Shelah started off as an HR Assistant, where she encountered Gulf Solution Group (GSG), a sister company of OPS, in 2016, bidding for a HRMS project. She subsequently used gulfHR (a proprietary Payroll and HR software solution of GSG) to automate HR functions at her then-company. She subsequently moved to OPS.
She now manages all new clients coming onboard and is our in house software expert!
She is a self-professed bag afficionado with her impressive luxury brand collection; Watching crime, thriller and suspense TV or movies; Sketching; Interior design.

Arya’s cousin, an Operations Manager at the time, introduced Arya to one of the UK’s best payroll outsourcing companies. She started with the company, based in India, where Arya is from, as HR Payroll Administrator. She moved to Dubai in 2018, working in HR and Payroll until she started at OPS at the end of 2019.
In her free time, Arya is mad about music. Singing; Playing instruments; Dancing; Music production; A little bit of painting; Traveling.

Ninita (or Nini as we call her!) aspires to be a person who is just there to live in the moment and also partially impact her future by doing better today. Ninita has extensive HR & Payroll knowledge and has worked her way up in the industry. She started her career interning at a hospital and quickly caught the HR bug. Since then, she has worked for some of the bigger name companies in the UAE, before starting her journey at OPS in 2021.
In her spare time, she is usually by the beach relaxing , trying something that she hasn’t done before, or catching up with her friends and family.
Said al Mughairy
Statutory and Compliance Specialist
“I enjoy a new challenge, when there’s something new to tackle everyday”
Said started his journey at OPS as an operations intern when he soon impressed the team with his legislative knowledge of GCC countries and his cheeky personality. Hi ethos is he is always learning, whenever he speaks about something, he wants to make sure he knows everything about it. In Said’s spare time, he likes to go for drives with his friends. He enjoys hunting and camping on the weekends and enjoys travelling to experience different cultures. At home, he has a large aquarium of fish, which is his favourite animal.

Marvin can outthink chess opponents for up to 3 hours. At school in the Philippines, he discovered that he could dribble a basketball, which he still plays. He enjoys cooking Asian food with his wife, with a special love for Filipino food, Sushi and Pad Thai.
As a payroll specialist, he handles several payrolls, each with a different payroll policy, procedure and process. Marvin ensures that all salaries are calculated correctly and paid on time, while complying to labor law.
Bushra brings an energic dynamic to our team. She loves to learn, and especially enjoys getting her teeth stuck in to a complicated tax or legislative process. She has experience working across all the GCC countries, along with Egypt, Jordan and Lebanon payroll processes.
In her spare time, Bushra loves being outdoorsy: camping, hiking, BBQ in the desert with her family and friends. To relax, she likes to stay home and watch netflix, go get some flowers to boost her mood, and loves chocolate and a good coffee.
Christine ensures everything in the office runs smoothly and makes sure the whole team is well looked after. She believes that ‘there are no problems, only solutions” be that at work or in her personal life.
Having moved to the UAE in 2013, she has worked across office management, HR, PRO, reception, and marketing.
Christine holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mass Communication from St. Joseph’s College of Quezon City in Manila.
Her hobbies include arts & crafts, badminton and Netflix. Whenever Chris is stressed, you can find her in the supermarket. This is her happy place where she feels she can relax. We call it Retail Therapy!
Mr Afamu is our in-house finance expert. He has had an extensive and exiting career in accounting and financial managements, mostly in the hospitality industry. Holding a qualification from the Chartered Institute of Management Accounting, he is always on the lookout for new online seminars to enhance his skillset.
Afamu is a big football supporter, his favourite team is Barcelona and likes watching English premiership football. In his spare time he also likes to read investment books, and watch movies.

OPS chief Diana Geldenhuys designed the role of Employee Wellness & Benefits Consultant to fit with the company’s vision to not only provide a place of work, but a space of wellness for staff. Toni brings essential skills to this visionary role, taking care of the mental, physical and psychological wellbeing of OPS staff, ensuring a highly committed, motivated workforce to take care of other businesses’ most important HR functions. Toni’s role puts the H in HR!
